About joining Cub Pack 210…
Age
You must be in Kindergarten through 5th grade to join Cub Scouts.
Gender
Cub Pack 210 is a Family Pack, which means we accept girls and boys.
Cost
Each Scout that participates in the program will incur the following costs every 12 months:
A registration fee collected by the national Scouting organization every 12 months. As of May 2024, this fee is $85 per 12 months.
An additional $10 fee for the Cradle of Liberty Council will be added to the registration fee collected by the national Scouting organization.
An optional $15 for Scout’s Life magazine, added to the registration fee by the national Scouting organization.
The fees noted above go toward running the Scouting program on the national level, plus the Cradle of Liberty Council which covers the entire Philadelphia area.
Cub Pack 210 also collects $100 per Scout per year to cover operating expenses. These dues are collected in-person via Cash or Check, or can be paid online using Venmo. We also offer financial assistance if needed.
Schedule
Cub Pack 210 meets at 7pm on the 3rd Friday of the month (September through May) in the church hall at Grace Presbyterian Church, 444 Old York Rd, Jenkintown. Each Den within the Pack will set its own meeting schedule to suit the schedules of the families involved — typically one or two meetings a month outside of the full Pack meeting.
We also have fun outdoor activities in Fall and Spring, with a longer Summer Camp in July or August. Our calendar is posted on the About Us page.
Parent Participation
Cub Scouts is a family activity, so at least one parent or guardian should accompany their Cub Scout(s) to each meeting and activity. Each grade level of Cub Scouts also requires a trained Den Leader, which is a parent volunteer.
How to Sign Up
This link will take you to the online application for membership, and will collect the 12-month registration fees noted above.
